Miso, Ginger and Honey Sauce

Our subscribers are clever Foodies and to make the point, Vanessa B. from Perth, Western Australia picked up on our Wild Mushroom Ragout with Miso paste and suggested the following Sauce recipe. Pure Yum !


4 x Tablespoons of White Miso

1 x Tablespoon Sesame oil

3 x Tablespoon of Rice Wine Vinegar

2 x Tablespoons of Mirin

1 x Tablespoon of Honey

2 x Teaspoons grated Ginger or to your taste

4 x Tablespoon of water

Whisk together to blend. A lovely, salty, slightly zippy, all purpose sauce for Crispy Skin Salmon, Cooked chicken, Roasted Vegetables (wonderful) or any of your recipes that you feel would be compatible.

Watchpoint: Be sure to dissolve the Miso and blend thoroughly. Best to prepare in advance and refrigerate to allow the flavours to mellow and blend.

Our tasting team found that this recipe may be modified to your taste ie, more or less Ginger.
