An essential Herb for your Stews, Sauces and marinades although it should be used sparingly - Bay Leaves can easily overpower a dish with their notes of Pine and Camphor.
Bay Leaves work well with Thyme and Parsley and are best placed in your dish at the beginning of the cooking and be left whole for easy removal at the finish.
